Thought I would sleep well after yesterday’s adventure, but no.
Breakfast at a bar nearby and off. Walked away from Paula after a while. It was a hard road down a hill, more like a river bed. Han passed me a little later. At least it went better walking uphill for me.
Had bought an extra bottle of water. Paula caught up with me when I stayed to eat lunch. She only has a small backpack, nothing more, and spends three months in Europe!
Nice road, fantastic views. Arrived at half past four. The clothes I had washed yesterday were not dry yet.
The chest strap on the rucksack had broken, so I had to find a shoemaker. Found one who fixed it for free. Had a Coke with Han. There was thunder in the air and when we got back to our albergue it started to poor down. It rained for at least half an hour.
Paula had her own food so Han and I went out. Hard to find somewhere to eat but eventually we found a bar that had tappas. Not much but ok and cheap. Bought lunch for tomorrow and in bed at half past nine.
