Doña Mencia

Breakfast at 7, then I took the Via Verde, a former railway track. No uphills there! Took a coffee and a clara in Cabra, barely half way.

Arrived already at 2 pm. I was looking for where to get the keys to the albergue when a man offered to help me. He made a couple of calls and it turned out that there was no longer any albergue since the pandemic.

He showed me to a cheap hotel, nothing luxurious like last night, but the restaurant seemed good. Rested.

Found nowhere where I could eat in the evening. The restaurant at the hotel was also closed.

Eastern Spain has been hit by a weather phenomenon that means enormous amounts of rain, the Dana. In Valencia there came 60 cm (!) of rain. A disaster.
