To Krautsand

The breakfast was okay, and it was enough for my lunch too. However, German coffee is not so good.

I walked a long way to get back to the Camino. I wanted to hurry up to Glückstadt, as I knew it was not so far away. It was an asphalt road all the way.

I arrived there at 1 pm. There was a youth hostel, but it was full, so I had to go back a bit to take the ferry, which took me to the other side of the Elbe. I had to wait for two hours before a bridge opened, so I could continue walking to Krautsand. I was lucky as you only can take the bridge on Saturdays (and maybe on Sundays).

I arrived at the campsite at 5.45 pm and had a little “after-walk” for myself. I took a shower, ate and now feel pretty good. Tomorrow’s stage will be shorter at least. I hope it doesn’t rain; I froze while waiting for the bridge.

You don’t need to do more just because it’s easy to do.
