Started at a quarter to eight. Sunny the first hour, then long, violent showers. I had time to dry before I arrived. Large albergue, maybe 60 beds. Ate a sandwich for lunch and then I met Jan. We went to Victor Corral’s garden and looked at the sculptures and the house. Met Gustavo and Thierry. Corral came out on the balcony and said we could look in the house after 5 pm. But when we came back, no one opened the door. The American from California was there.
When I got back to the albergue, Martin was there. He had walked long despite pain in his legs.
Rested and then I ate a risotto at a bar nearby. Still hungry. Met a nice German-Spanish guy from Berlin at the bar.
Been following some older French people for a while. Annoying. Especially one who always want be in the center.

The intention was to cut down this tree, but it was saved by Víctor Corral who carved some religious motives in it. See the others photos. Baamonde. Camino del Norte. Spain.
