I came back yesterday to Santillana. Same bad weather. It started to rain heavily when Linda and I arrived at our B&B. Then came a terrible thunderstorm. We ate a paëlla and drank cider in the evening.
Today we started walking at 8:30 am. Easy stage. No major ascents. We had lunch at playa Luña and had a long break. There was thunder in the air. We arrived at Comillas at 5pm. We are staying in a nice hotel, a room with a balcony.
Linda felt a little sick so we only took a short walk to the town where we bought yogurt and fruit.
Comillas is an interesting place with several monumental buildings.
