Today it was just walking, nothing special. Long stage, 32 km. It was raining before I got up. Off at half past eight. Cloudy. It went pretty well to walk. Caught up with Bertrand. Walked with him for an hour or so.
Stopped and had a sandwich in Montreal. Bertrand, Julien and Gaël showed up. Montrealis a nice village. Then there were 16 km left. Pretty tough despite the cloudy weather. Thunder in the air.
In the middle of nowhere appeared La casa d’Elena, a hostel and bar. Nice to drink a panaché.
The remaining 7 km were quite tough. I had pain in my feet. Came in Eauzes 4:20 pm. Great with a shower. Had to wash the lower part of my trousers which were full of mud. Sat me out in the square with them on so they would dry.
Had a beer, ate lasagna. Will sleep well tonight.
