According to the weather report, it should have been pouring rain today, but it turned out to be quite sunny. But the wind is cold. I’m happy I brought a scarf. Some hard ascents but nicer views than yesterday when it was sunny.
Lunch in Orio. Nice village. Only 4km left to Zarautz where I planned to stay for the night. Arrived at 12:30. At the Tourist Office they said there was no albergue for pilgrims. I was afraid it would be like yesterday, but there was an albergue 4km further, in Getaira. Just keep walking. I took the road along the sea, flat and nice.
A bit hard to find the shelter. But there was beds. At 4 pm I had my shower and did my laundry. Geteira is a nice village. Had dinner with a nice couple from Germany. I ate fish.
