There is a difference between younger and older pilgrims. The younger ones can to have sex in the middle of the night after walking about 25 kilometers and drinking wine late in the evening. Well, its not unpleasant to wake up because you hear your neighbours, but you fell quite jaded at 2 am.
It may be why we got up late, at 8 pm. Off at 9pm. First a steep hill for about 2 kilometers and then a tough descent to Embalse de Salime. But it was beautiful. And windy and cold.
We ate a sandwich in Vistalegre and then it was an ascent to Grandas. Arrived 2:30 pm. Rest – shower – laundry.
We took a walk around the village and visited a museum that Jan told us about.
A patcharan in one bar and then to the restaurant and another patcharan. We ended up in a larger group thanks to Tricia, a pilgrim from the USA. It was a pleasant dinner with many nationalities and conversations.
In bed at 10 pm.
