Sunny, no wind. Great! It was over 30km to go, but I thought I’d take a shortcut. Unfortunately, I missed a sign and took the wrong way. I probably had to walk an extra hour. Anyway, I came at 3 pm to the albergue.
It’s like a small village. A bit like Pippi Longstocking, Jesse thought. There are hundreds of beds and it was probably full. At half past seven there was some information about the albergue and the thoughts behind it. The pilgrims support social projects in Spain and abroad with their voluntary contributions. Then there it was dinner at half past eight. Simple but ok and nice company.
I went to bed at 10.
