Started at a quarter past 6. They said it would be hot and almost thirty kilometers. It went pretty well. It was quite windy, otherwise it was shady. Arrived in Lectoure before 1pm. I managed to take a siesta too. Then it got really, really hot, 33 degrees I heard. It was hardly possible to be outside.
In the beginning, the landscape was beautiful in the morning light.Very hilly. Passed through nice villages, dating back to the Middle Ages. I had a shower and made my laundry before 3pm, then I looked for Jacques to say goodbye as it was his last day walking. Found him at the bus stop.
Then I took a short walk in town, but it was too hot for sightseeing. Julien and Gaël checked into the same hostel. We went out for a cold beer. The hostel is full.
