Tough stage. Three tough climbs. Nice surroundings. Fall once.
I’m a little worried for my right foot. Hurted at night. And it took a few km before it stopped hurting this morning.
Was happy to get to a bigger village, but was disappointed. The campsite was closed. Went back to the village and saw that the bar where I drank a panaché previously also was a hotel.
Showered, washed and went out and ate a good trout in a nice restaurant.
When I came back, I saw that the hotel’s name was Saint-Jacques. The owner offered me a calvados. Talked a little with him and his sister. They are chinese and work hard. They closed nine. Then they have to clean up. 6.30am, they open again.
Later I remembered that I had read about the hotel in a booklet in Issy-l’Eveque.
