To Österskov (Silkeborg)

It rained for about an hour after 8:30 pm, and then it was quiet. It was a bit cold at night.

I started walking at 8 am, and despite the rain, sun, hail, and cold wind, it was quite okay to continue. I took a shortcut to Ry, and now I’m almost in Silkeborg at a primitive campsite. It’s cold here.

If you want to see the landscape around the lakes, it’s better to travel by car or boat, as I have done previously. I have been walking mostly in the woods after Ry and haven’t seen much else. I went near Himmelberget, which is Denmark’s highest hill, about 140 m above sea level.
