It was a long day. The night was quiet, with no wind and not so cold. When I got up, it was sunny, but the tent was wet.
I started at 7 am, and soon had to take off my pullover as it was nice and warm. Unfortunately, I had to put it back on soon after. I got lost almost immediately as the path was not well marked.
I arrived at what I thought was the youth hostel at around 4 pm. However, it turned out to be a company. The hostel had closed 5-6 years ago. I then went to a gasthaus on the other end of town, but there was no place available.
They helped me find a hotel, which cost €48! I arrived there at 6 pm. I was afraid that the same thing could happen the next day, so I asked the receptionist to help me book a room at the hostel where I will stay. I am glad it’s done.
